It’s feeling good around here. The weather is agreeable. Summer is around the corner. The vibes are electric! Let’s see what’s going on around Cape May.
The Cape May Ferry Terminal’s outdoor stages at Exit Zero Ferry Park will be host to the Exit Zero Jazz Festival on May 5-7. It runs from 11am-6pm each day, and has a killer, diverse lineup.
Pedego Electric Bikes Cape May are big music lovers; and we LOVE Exit Zero and all the work they have done around town building community through cool eateries, destinations and hangouts. Can’t wait to check it out.
Here’s a cool one on May 20th, from 10am-4pm. Let’s have the foundation do the talking:
“The Coast Guard Community Festival is proudly presented by Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation. Festival goers will get an inside look at an Active-Duty Coast Guard Base while exploring Training Center Cape May, the nation’s only boot camp for Coast Guard Recruits. While on foot and by trolley, you will have access to view and go inside the U.S. Coast Guard Station Cape May vessels, view a Coast Guard helicopter up close and much more.
The Coast Guard Recruit Band and Precision Drill Team will give engaging performances as they march through the festival grounds. Watch a thrilling Search and Rescue Demonstration by the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City as the helicopter hovers above Cape May Harbor. Enjoy food, music and kid-friendly activities. There are also guided tours of the Cape May Harbor highlighting the importance of the Coast Guard to the commercial fishing industry, a Kids’ Zone, great food, local brews, vendors and live entertainment. We anticipate more than 5,000 people each year for this FREE event.”
Another festival of a completely different kind takes place the same weekend. From May 18-21, The New Jersey Audubon Cape May Spring Festival is THE place to be for birdwatchers. Different keynote speakers, watching stations, guided tours, education sessions and more! Find out comprehensive information, and register here:

Orange Moose Carts and Pedego Electric Bikes are really great when it comes to low noise while in motion. The quiet battery-driven motors are really conducive for a tranquil ride around the Cape. This makes them perfect vehicles for birdwatchers getting from place to place!
May is looking mighty fine, can’t wait to see what the summer brings.
